Graeme Heckenberg

Principal Solicitor – Accredited Mediator NMAS

Graeme Heckenberg has extensive legal and commercial experience, with particular expertise in the law of inheritance, contested wills, deceased estate litigation and settling disputes.

Graeme graduated from the UNSW with Honours and has practised as a solicitor in Sydney for over 25 years and is admitted to the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of NSW.

In addition to being appointed a Notary Public, he is an accredited mediator and was an Arbitrator of the District Court and Local Courts of NSW.

Graeme is a founding member of the City of Sydney Law Society and a member of the Law Society of New South Wales and regularly appears in the Supreme Court of NSW in contested wills and estate cases.

Graeme is also the Principal Lawyer for the law firm Heckenberg Lawyers which is centrally based in the heart of the city of Sydney.

Klia joined the team in 2022. She graduated from UNSW with degrees in Law and Arts. Klia advises on all matters relating to family inheritance, Probate and estate management, drafting wills, powers of attorney, and enduring guardian documents.

She is experienced in assisting clients with Family Provision Claims and has facilitated substantial settlements for her clients. Klia draws on her comprehensive experience in providing advice. She listens to her client’s needs and endeavours to deliver outstanding results.  

Maneka Lovette

Graduate Law

Maneka joined the team in 2022. Maneka has several years of experience in the area of wills and succession law. She is a final year law student at the University of Western Sydney

Maneka has a keen interest in will disputes, probate and administration, estate distribution and litigation and intends to continue to practice in this area of the Law when she is admitted as a solicitor.

Maneka is also a law clerk for Heckenberg Lawyers.
